Beach Ultimate frisbee

Na vorig weekend wat cultuur op te snuiven op Pukkelpop, is het dit weekend weer tijd voor een beetje sport.
We gaan naar MonsterBall in het dorpje Monster, bij Den Haag Nederland. Het is een beach-Ultimate-Frisbee-tornooi met 32 ploegen. Dus zullen er een goede 300 frisbeeërs zich twee dagen uitleven.
Hopelijk wordt het mooi weer :-)

Het weekend nadien is het weer tijd voor frisbee. Dan is het Belgian Beach Cup. Het belgisch kampioenschap Beach-Ultimate-Frisbee. Vorig jaar was het daar extreem slecht weer, rukwinden waar niet tegenin te passen viel, stortregens en kou. Slechter weer kan het alvast niet worden.

 

Na de Belgian Beach cup moet ik nog een halve dag werken en dan vertrek ik twee weken naar Italië met Ellen. We bezoeken, Geneve (CERN), Annessy, Firenze, Milaan, Venetië, Pisa en we eindigen met een driedaags Beachfrisbee-tornooi in Via Reggio: Burla Beach Cup!

Friday, August 28:

Players are welcome at the campsite anytime after 14:00.
21:00 onwards: Welcome party at the Bondi Beach Club

Saturday, August 29:

8:00 – 10:00: Breakfast at the Bondi Beach Club
9:00 – 19:00: Games
18:30 – 20:00: BBQ at the Bondi Beach Club
21:00 You SOCK! battle (bring an old pair of socks)
22:00 onwards: Costume party at the Bondi Beach Club
22:30 – 00:00: L’Chaim (awesome Klezmer band, they rocked last year!)
00:00 – 04:00: DJ Upwind Scoober

Sunday, August 30:

8:00 – 10:00: Breakfast at the Bondi Beach Club
9:00 – 15:00: Games
15:00-16:00: Finals
16:10: Awards Ceremony
